Question My car was hit...

Overnight sometime my car was hit while parked in the parking lot at my friends apartment complex. I have an HHR and the back end is significantly dented on one side. The damage does not extend as far as the inside of the hatchback.

How do I know if it was significant enough to need to replace my son's car seat?

What seat do you have? Most require replacement after ANY crash. The ones that don't, you'll have to do your best with their guidelines.

This is from the true fit manual. Looks like they think it should be replaced. I'd call to check if you're unsure.

Are you putting in a claim? If so, just add the seat to it.
