More booster advice please

I have more booster questions. Sorry and thank you so much for your help.

So I have a DD8 who is 52.5" tall, 74lbs, and seated height of 19". I also have DD5.5 who is 46" tall and 39.8lbs without shoes.

The short phrasing of the question is...
Part 1 - What are my booster options for my DD8 now that she is very close to outgrowing her Frontier harnessed? She does sleep in the car quite often, so I was leaning toward high back booster? What are preferred no back boosters?
Part 2 - Also I am looking for a high back booster to put in my husband's chevy cruze that would work for both of them for an hour or less once every other week. Any suggestions?

I can go either way on the Frontier. I would like to pass it down to the 5 year old and pass her Radian down to my 16 month old niece whose seat is expiring. But if it makes more sense to keep my DD8 in the Frontier as a booster, we can do that.

In this case, budget is not a top concern. I don't want a $300 booster when it seems like there are many option for $150 or less, but budget is less of a concern that finding seats that work.

Ok. There are a lot of options in that range. Do you want a booster with LATCH? Do you have adjustable head restraints on the seat where it will be used?

Yes. We do watch it to be able to LATCH to stay in position when unoccupied.

And yes. The vehicle seats where the booster or boosters will be used have adjustable headrests.

Thank you again for all your help!

Ok. Possibilities include the Graco Affix, the Recaro Performance Booster, the Diono Monterey, the Britax Parkway SG-L for that price range and height with lower connectors.

The Affix is cheapest but shortest. It should get you a year and a half or so at least for the 8 year old though, and goes backless later.

The others are all about the same height as I recall. The Performance Booster doesn't go backless, the others do.

Thank you! We will go sit in those and see how they fit her.

Can I install the frontier with the harness for my 5 year old and then have my 8 year old buckle it as a booster? Can she use it as a booster with the harness straps still there for her sister?

Yes. The Frontier allows LATCH in booster mode. Don't tighten as much as if installing for car seat use, just remove the slack.
