Mazda 5 stroller ?

Not sure if this is the correct forum for this but here it is we are about to purchase a double stroller or at least a stroller with a double option, and at the same time it looks like we might be taking over my moms 2012 mazda 5. This is the best option for us to get out of our current car situation so we don't have a choice of vehicle but I'm very excited about it it will be the nicest thing I've ever driven.

Now for the challenges ! We are a one car family and so there will always be a seat permanently installed in the 3 rd row and I need a double stroller for DD1 3 ( she still wants to ride often) and DD2 3 months. I had really narrowed down the stroller search to the city select or the phil and teds verve ( provided I can get a used one at a good deal ) but now that getting the mazda is a reality I'm worried either of those is a mistake that won't fit in the car. Ideally I need to use the stroller for family outings and walking DS to school over slightly rough terrain plus the mall and maybe target type stores.

Is it safe to have half the 3rd row folded down and a stroller on top of it while dd is sitting back there rear facing ?

Any suggestions ? Thanks!

I can testify to the Britax B-Agile fitting, same goes for the BJCM. Nothing else I've tried has, aside from some umbrella type strollers. I personally wouldn't feel comfortable with a stroller right next to my child in the third row.

i've put my phil and teds explorer in the 3rd row next to a seat, it fits quite nicely with a gap between the stroller and the car seat, and then i use a ratchet strap to secure it, it thus far has never moved.
