Vent Maybe I should just buy 2 Frontiers

Because boosters in a 3-across, even a 3-across that isn't *that* close, are really really really irritating. Not so bad when DH is along, because he can reach in easier to help buckle them. I am 7" shorter and have to pretty much climb in the pickup to buckle them. I'd like to ask the Chevy engineer who designed those nifty hide-away seatbelt stalks if she/he has any kids they've tried to buckle in the backseat. Nothing more annoying than fishing for a buckle that keeps slipping back into the seat bight.

Sophie needs a new seat (hers will expire in May) but I'm not sure getting a super narrow seat for passenger side will help much. There is physically plenty of room for the boosters, and it's not even a knuckle-scraper to buckle them, it's just hard for the kids. Maybe a different booster for the center - the arms on the TB are sort of annoying there. Must be a high-back because there is no true headrest in the center.

Maybe one of the boosters with swiveling arm rests would help? Certain models of the Evenflo Big Kid I think have swiveling arm rests (I can't recall which ones offhand).

Shoot, I have fixed buckle stalks in my Traverse and it's a royal PITA to buckle a booster (and we have a booster with flip up arm rests!). I always thought I wanted one with LATCH to keep it in place, but I know if I did that, there is no way I could reach the buckle to get it buckled...let alone my kid. As it is, I have to slide the booster to the side to get to the buckle. Harnessed is so much easier. ;)
