Been surfing around for the last couple of days and I have not had that pop-up occur from your site. I've seen it on some blogs but not via CSO. Thanks for listening and following up on this.

I have had this redirect twice while reading this thread and numerous other times on the forum today. I am browsing in Chrome on an Ipad 2 with iOS 7.1.2.

Can you please specific what you were doing and where when it happened? Did it happen immediately on page loading, or a mouseover or a click? Any details appreciated.

It happens immediately upon the page loading, even if I am not touching my device. Having trouble posting a reply because it redirects about every other page load of any kind. Here is another one:

What device are you using? Is that Safari browser?

Does it happen on all pages, or just the home page, just forum listings, individual threads, when reading private messages, etc?

Anyone else seeing these same ads/redirects?

I need to make sure it is the same issue and provide them as much information as possible.

This is happening to me with every thread I try to read today. I'm using the safari browser on my iPad. I don't click on anything and then one of those ads pops up. I've gotten about 5 different ones today.

I have made a change while waiting to hear back from the network. Please let me know if the issues continue to happen from this time forward (6pm central), and please be clear where it happen and if you observed it after this post was made.

Also, to be clear, does these ads pop up in a new window, in a new tab, redirect your current tab to a new one, pop under in a new window, or how do they appear?

I cleared out everything and it is still happening. It just opens in the current window, and I have to click the back button to get back to the page, but then when I try to reopen the thread same thing happens again.

Just happened to me twice using Safari on my iPad. It redirected in the same tab. It happened as soon as I opened a thread.

I just made another change. I will have to keep removing networks one by one to find the culprit.

Apparently, malicious ads are the scourge of the industry right now:-( Which is too bad because without advertisements the site can't operate.

Incidentally, I have been reloading pages all evening and have not seen one. It must be a regional or targeted advertisement of some sort.

Is anyone still seeing these ads? All input needed, whether you do or don't, especially if you were seeing them earlier today but are not seeing them any longer.

Anyone still seeing these at all? I need confirmation so I can take further steps if necessary, thank you!

I tried and tried from my iPad ~7hours ago and couldn't get it to do it.

I have not had any problems since 6pm last night. Yay!

Thank you! I have a good idea what caused it then.

If anyone else who had the redirects could also comment, that would be great.

Also, one more favor to ask. If you refresh www.carseatblog.com a few times, does it happen to you there? It's a different server and platform, but has a couple ad networks in common.

I just got a redirect on my iPad (ios 7.1.2) using Safari, from the gas-cap-wrong-side thread. I managed to get it a second time, this time able to see the ad for a moment, something about "lock out services", and it redirected me to admin.appnext.com/ClickUrlm.html?ida=%3Candroid_id%3E&idi=9ea5ecae-5200-4ba2-a078-16378e3cc49d&pbk=w0JBVIVOCFTFLPSHG0530C9U
which then auto-opened the ios App Store to get me to download "Disco Bees - The Fun New Match 3 Game" (this was the second time. I don't know what app it took me to the first time but I think it was different). When I go back to safari, I can get back to car-seat.org and then go forward again to the appnext page.. and I can see it redirects further through things that go by quickly, c.afftrx.com and ad-x.co.uk, and then takes me to a different app (The Economist for iPad).
