Looking for a higher back booster - 5pt harness

My youngest is 4 and her Britax Marathon expires this year :(

So I am on the search for a new car seat and feel so much less informed then when I bought the others. I reviewed, researched and was lucky with the Marathon. LOVED it for both my girls.

My oldest 8 -- almost 9 is in the Nautilus and while I do like it would like something with a left handed cup holder for my youngest.
I was looking at the Evenflo Maestro but after reading some reviews I am not so sure.

What would you recommend as say the top 3?
She is a peanut -- both my girls are small.

Right now she is 4 yrs old, 26.6lbs and about 40 inches.

I don't see many left handed cup holders but that -- other then safety and comfort is my only stipulation :)

TIA :)

Hello :)

What do you drive? Is your oldest ready for a booster - how much does she weigh? If yes I'd be inclined to pass the Nautilus down and get the oldest a new seat. If that's not an option then we can certainly narrow it down for you.

I drive an 07 Torrent and yes my oldest is in a booster but the Nautilus has a right handed cup holder and we need left handed :)

I think you will need to fine one with two cup holders or a moveable one. Not gonna lie, left handed cup holder is an odd stipulation. I'm wondering why...is it because she is a lefty or so its oriented how you want in the vehicle?

Frontier and it relatives (fr85, fr90, pinnicle 90, pioneer70) all have 2 cup holders. The securekid 300/400 is a relative of the maestro, so that may be an option. The sureride has tall top slots (its a convertible though) and I think the cup holder can be put on either side.

Was looking at the maestro and she actually sat in one and said it was comfy -- she still nods off and I find the nautilus wasn't nap friendly with my oldest.
Also saw the securekid 400 but not sure which is the comfier of the 2.
I would like her to have a left handed cup holder as she was born without a right hand. She wants to be able to put her own cup down and grab as needed. So I am fine with it having both just not right only.

Mine have napped horribly in the Nautilus, but very well in the Frontier85. That would be my top choice :)

My soon to be 5 year old is 34lbs & 40" & we bought him a Frontier CT a few weeks ago! I adore it!

We have a nautilus & my son didn't care for it, the head slump when sleeping bothered me, it caused him no discomfort I just simply didn't like looking at his dangling head all the time

He's fallen asleep numerous times in his Frontier & he rests his head back & onto the head rest :D

Like your tiny DD my DS will be a while before hitting 40lbs so the tall harness of the Frontier was important & I find the Frontier is a sleeker seat , it doesn't look as much as a "car seat" like the Nautilus which my son really likes

The CT ( click tight) version is a dream to install - so incredibly easy! That was also a big selling point for us :)

I bought mine online on Amazon with a free trial of Prime & it was at my door in less than 48 hours :) Another great online ordering site is Snugglebugz.ca :) I've ordered lots from there & it's fast shipping
