My car has LATCH available but I don't use it. I like her in the center and there isn't any there, plus I've always, with the exception of a Britax, found the seatbelt easier to install with.

You know there's a storage spot at the top of the shell that the connectors click into, right? ;)

Yes, but the adjuster for the LATCH straps still sticks out and is irritating. The whole top of the seat is just a mess of straps. And the Super LATCH is seriously heavy, on a seat that is already a beast. That's it. I'm taking those suckers OFF. :)

Oh, and FWIW, I have the Radians because I lack top tethers in my Odyssey. I do tether my FFing DD's seat to a third row seat belt, but it's not an official Sunshine Kids/Honda approved tether spot, so I still wanted seats that perform well without top tethers.

Okay, so fellow members of the LATCH-less club, what are your votes for best boosters?

I have 4 sets of LATCH in my van. I use NONE of them for my 5pt harness seats. I like to install with a seatbelt whenever possible...and a top tether of course. I do use it of course for the Clek and will use it when the FN85 gets turned into a booster. But overall I dont like to install with LATCH. Not sure why.

I have one vehicle with LATCH and one without. Generally speaking, installs are much easier, and faster unless I have to take the LATCH strap out of the belt path, in the LATCHless vehicle. LWLLP FTW!

I have LATCH but I don't use it. My car is a 2011 forester so it has the weird weight limits. Technically I could use DS's radian with the superlatch but I don't. The car I had before(95 volvo) didn't have latch or locking belts so I'm just used to seatbelt installs. DH's truck(92 explorer) doesn't have latch or top tethers but the middle lap belt does lock.

I have a 2000 Cavalier and no LATCH. Sometimes I wish I had it, particularly when I put the Radian in RFing. But I don't really mind it other than then since the kiddos I watch are mostly heavier anyways. My mom's car has it and once I put the Frontier in there with LATCH for Z without thinking and had to last minute switch to a seatbelt install when I realized she was too heavy.
