It gets over 115 here, and i've had NO issues with my shelf liner in my van, with leather seats!
I'm also in PA and have leather seats. The shelf liner did stick to my seats and I had a heck of a time getting it off. This was just the rubber liner with holes in it, don't know if that makes a difference.
Honestly, other than installation issues, I personally find it pointless to use anything at all.
I've only used it on leather seats and it's usually just added when the parent wants something under their seat. They generally come in w/ seat protectors that I mention aren't a good idea, but they insist on something and this is the lesser of 2 evils.
