Leaning seat

I purchased a 2015 Town and Country Touring to be able to transport grandchildren however the third row bench seat is made with trim in such a way that two outboard rear facing carseats lean slightly in toward center although tight at base. Any know safe solutions to prevent the lean? Both are Graco- extend2fit and snugride, have also tried Britax Emblem with same result.

Hi there,

I'm definitely familiar with the contours there. You can try scooting them toward the center a little to avoid the up-turn. If a child is under the weight limit for whatever seat you are using, you can use the offset lower anchors for one. A little bit of a lean is ok, but it shouldn't worsen over time, lift the seat off the vehicle seat, or be severe. If you're not sure, contact the car seat manufacturer to assess the lean of a particular seat.
