Question Kia Sedona?

Hello, we are about to have three kids under 5....ages 4, 1.5 and soon a new infant.
We were looking at trading in our RX350 for a Kia Sedona purely for more space in an economical SUV.
Can you advise if this vehicle is a good option for 3 car seats...also is there any difference between the Sedona and RX350 (ie should we just keep our current vehicle)?

Thanks so much!

Rx350 is a 5-seater suv vs the Sedona which is a 7-seater minivan.
I don't know top tether positions off the top of my head, but for discussion sake let's say you could fit all 3 seats across the back row, that means you could remove the captains chairs for cargo space.
Or two kiddos in captains chairs and one in the third row with half the bench folded down for cargo space.
Or two kiddos in the rear and one in captain chair so you can remove one captain chair for cargo space.

I can't tell you anything about the Sedona compared to other minivans. But I'd say a minivan is a different world from a 5-seater.

I have an rx300 and have plenty of room for 3 carseats. I like the cargo space. But I've never driven a minivan so I can't compare.

I think projectile wise... That using the middle of the van with no captains chairs... Wouldn't be the best plan for cargo. My friend had an rx 350 and is turning it in for a minivan soon. The back seat isn't super wide. With my son's seat and her son's seat... There isn't room for a third in the middle. They are both in wide seats... And I know there are combinations that will work... But the Sedona will certainly have more cargo space than the RX even with all seats up in the Sedona.
