is this safe?

Was this a display model? If so, I wouldn't buy it. I don't know how concerned I'd be about a pinhole in the center of a thick strap, but it's hard to tell with the large plastic piece still attached.

When I worked retail, the pins we used for sensors were thick - not like a pin you'd use for sewing. I'd be very concerned that may have compromised the harness and would choose not to use it in my vehicle. You could call Evenflo and get their opinion, though!

It was a floor model on clearance, didn't have a price so I ask them for the price, I told him to consider that it was a floor model and that the harness needed to be replace because the harness had been damage, he told me the price was 59.99, I wasn't going to buy it anyway but I told him that the price was too much giving the fact that it was 2 years old and that the seat was not safe, I told him that they shouldn't sale that seat like that because it was not safe... he said ok, and walked away without doing anything.... I did my part

I would send that picture and a short letter or email to Burlington Coat Factory...not just the one store. :)
