I have owned 5 of these seats and LOVE them.
Love the plush, yet easy to wash covers. Easy install, USA made, latch connectors, etc.
BFF has a 4 month old who HATES her Graco Snugride. During a recent visit, she purchased a Graco MyRide for her parents and baby liked it much better. BFF however would like something a bit more plush for her main seat at home and really likes my Marathons.
I've been out of the convertible buying market for quite some time, is there another seat that would be a better buy for her? I have never used a Marathon 70, but from what I've read--shorter shell.
SO--do I tell her to get the Marathon 70 or something else?
Budget-open
Baby is currently 4m and about 50th percentile, wearing 3-6m clothing, about 15#
Parents are both on the shorter side (dad=5'7" mom=5'2")
Requirements: EASY to install! On a recent visit--the infant seat was horribly installed. I've since educated them, but still, no tricky installs, please.
They currently drive an Audi SUV, but will probably be changing cars. Most likely will be some sort of SUV and a sedan.
They live in Houston--so something that works well with the heat and humidity a plus.
Thanks!
