I have a cosco car seat bought about 2 years ago. My baby threw up in it so I took it apart to wash. Now I can't figure out how to put it back together. Is there a way you can help me?

It's a scenera. I washed the cover in the machine, and rinsed the rest off with the a shower head.

I'm sorry, but you can't hose a seat down. I wouldn't use it until you call Cosco and make sure they're ok with it. I wouldn't want you to have introduced water that may rust parts out in the seat.

Those are the relevant pages for your manual for taking the seat apart and putting it back together.

Oh, bummer! I'm so sorry that we have to inform you that you can't hose a seat down. :( Like Wendy said, you will need to call Cosco to find out what they suggest.

So sorry!

I had no idea. The seat smelled so badly. (She threw up on the way to the airport, before an international flight).
I washed it down and put it out to dry on a very hot sunny day so it should have dried very quickly.
I can't get through to Cosco - I keep getting cut off.

No surprise on a holiday Sunday. I'd try again on Tuesday.

Do you have something else to use in the meantime, just in case?

True. I live overseas now and lose track of American holiday weekends. No, I don't have anything else. I think I will try to put it together and use it for now if I need to.
