How long ff in Cocorro?

I got dd a cco to ff in, she's almost 3, 30lbs and about 1/2" or more below the 2nd to top slot in an RA50. I chose this seat for a tight across w/2 boosters outboard over a scenera. I started to second guess this purchase as I want/need it to work for her at least 6months. Just want to see if anyone had used this ff for the 3-4 yr range, I haven't picked the seat up yet and may just print the return label if I decide not to keep.

My DD has a 13.5" torso and is above the second to top slot (so using the top slot.) I expect her to outgrow it next summer-ish, around 3.5yrs. Here she is just in the house.

I acquired a coccoro tonight to hopefully use with a future child but DD was hysterical that it wasn't for her. I tried her in it and she is just about even with the top slots and only has a pound or two to go at just shy of three years old. I'll try to measure her torso sometime this weekend but she wears a 3-4 shirt. I was honestly surprised she fit in it at all though...

My nephew fit in it FF until just under age 4, but my friend's son only fit in it FF until he was maybe age 2.5 (he has a monster torso, though, and is enormously tall). I think it depends largely on the child.

On average, though, I would guess that most kids could make it to age 3-3.5 or so. If your daughter is 0.5" below the second-to-top harness slots, she must have a torso length of about 14.5"? The Coccoro's highest harness slot is 15", so that's cutting it really close. :(

This is my thinking too, I need to measure her torso, she seems so small even though she has always been in the 95% for height and my boys were 10&25% so she may be bigger than they were at her age :( it sounds like 3-3.5 is about avg and I'm not sure it's worth it anymore. Oh darn!

My 4.5 yo has a 13.5" torso, so it sounds like she'd fit and she's well under 40 lbs weight limit. Though she is 40.5" so if they've got a standing height limit, she's probably over that...

I had assumed since she it in a scenera still she would in the cco and that led to my buying it. I am just taking the return label with me to send back. I want it, but don't know of she'll fit and don't want to waste time going back and forth.
Thanks for all your input it probably saved me a lot of travel time :)
