Honda Accord - center LATCH yea or nay?

I installed* the seat with the belt for now because I was pretty sure Honda say No to borrowing outboard LATCH for center position, but I thought I'd double check before I show Dad how to reinstall on his own.

*Babe came early, so I was helping out.

It depends on the vehicle, my crv has 5 latch anchors, each outboard side has their own set but there's one in the left middle, you use that one and borrow one from the passenger side... I don't think accord allows borrowing at all though

OK. I'll double check that I didn't miss a 5th anchor & show Dad how to install with belt in center or LATCH outboard (they'll move the seat when they travel with their dog).

Good call on using the seatbelt for installing in the center. There's no dedicated set of LATCH for the center, and Honda says nay to borrowing the innermost outboard lower anchors to install in the center in 2001-2014 Accord models.

Yeah no center latch and I don't even like it for outboard in the accord backseat because the inside anchors are up on the hump and set quite far in :(

I haven't been a fan of the LATCH anchors in ANY of the Hondas in my family. The Pilot's anchors are the best of the group of Hondas my family has, but the anchors in the other Hondas we have are not on my list of easy to use. :(

My crv aren't toooo bad aside from the weird positioning of the anchors for middle, but my Mil's old crosstour was a nightmare, had leather flaps you had to go through, it was ridiculous

True. I haven't had ANY trouble in my Ody. I have had trouble with Nadia's Clek seats in the Accord, however, which had slipped my mind. The seat for the baby is a True Fit, which doesn't have rigid LATCH, so maybe it won't be a problem.
