Help which HBB for 15 hour trip on a Jetta 2020 fixed head restraints

I had no idea fixed headrests would make the High back booster not flush on the seat. After a week of research I purchased Chicco kid fit plus 2-1 air. I thought would be the best option for my sweaty and car sick prone child. Then I leased a Jetta 2020. The head restraint pushes the head rest.
Backless is not an option I need my child to sleep comfortably resting his head on the sides. That is why I was considering the Britax air and the Monterrey XL or even Everett.

What is your child's age and approximate weight, please? Forward mounted, fixed head restraints are problematic. A backless booster or vest are the usual solutions depending on the child's age and weight. There may be high back boosters that are technically allowed in this situation, but they are still likely to be extremely upright, negating the benefit of the side wings for sleeping.

Another option is to use a booster that allows for a gap in recline mode if lower anchors are used- the Clek Oobr or Peg Perego Viaggio Flex 120.
