Help me pick a booster

I'm not sure I'm ready for this...but I need to start booster training DS. He's 5.5 and pretty conscious about car safety. He'll stay harnessed in our primary vehicle, but we're going to start trying a booster in DH's car (it will only be for short distances anyway).

DS is pretty long in the torso, but I'm not worried right this second about making sure I get the tallest thing out there or the thing with the most leg room. (I'm okay with buying a different booster later when we need extra height.) I'd like something LATCHable, if possible. Needs to be pretty easy for DS to learn to be able to buckle himself.

But the real kicker is that I'd like it to fit next to DD's RF MR65. Right now it'll be in the back of an 03' Buick Regal. Do you think an Affix would work?

I think it has a pretty good chance of working. It's hard to know until you try it.

I would have suggested a Britax Parkway SGL, but I don't know how it would play next to the MyRide either.

Thanks. Once it's no longer freezing out, I'll get a couple of seats and try. DS is great about getting himself buckled into his current seats, but can't do it quickly enough to manage the car line at school. It's ok most of the time, we just park & walk him in or out. But that won't be an option when DH travels for work in April & my mom is here to help. I'm hoping a booster will work.
