HBB for small/tall six yo?

What says the experts about using a HBB for a 45 1/2" 41lbs newly turned six year old? Currently in a Nuna Rava, and has not outgrown the seat, but complains that their butt hurts. 41lbs seems too close to the 40lb requirement, just for butt comfort.
TIA

40 lbs isn't really a necessary minimum. It's used as a proxy for age. A 6 year old is completely safe in a properly used booster- and in some crashes in some vehicles a booster might perform better than a harness, even.

If you'd like to use the harness a bit longer, though, try adding a safe, lightweight item to use as a foot rest.
