Have we discussed the Head Snuggler yet?

While I wouldn't consider using it, I don't think it is a no-no. It does not interfere with the seat in any way.

This is the first I've heard of this thing.

It seems to me like a pretty ridiculous solution to a minor problem that could be corrected with proper recline angle for the younger ones, and a tiny travel pillow for the older ones. I'd also be concerned about the potential suffocation/strangulation hazards of a snuggler that has been pulled down too far.

They are charging $21 for that thing, plus $3.50 S&H! WOW!

And I love how on the front page, they show the worst car seat slump in an integrated car seat, where this product would be useless anyway.

It was discussed before. I know I saw it somewhere, and I usually only see these things here.

So you don't see a potential issue with it after rebounding in an accident? Besides maybe pulling it down on oneself it seems there may be issues with it stretching and sliding down on initial impact and then getting caught up on a kiddos neck.

I guess I was looking at it as a not interfering with the harness or installation issue. After I posted that I thought about it more and was coming to add some more thoughts. I do worry about the rebound issue. I actually think it is a stupid product that I don't understand why anyone would buy.

I have never seen or heard of that before. Seems ridiculous and not safe. I wouldn't ever buy one or recommend it as a solution it is just silly. Come to think of it even if it was a good idea and safe to use I totally can't see either of my kids liking it or using it.

I worry that having the head essentially tied to the carseat could cause weird neck strain on impact.

Whoa. Would not use this for a younger child. Really wouldn't use it for any child! What if the child moved around it went over the face. Not a big deal for a big child who would push itout of the way but bad news for a younger child. Yikes!

Am I the only one who is worried about the fact that this thing hasn't been treated with any flame retartdant and it is going around the seat and child head. Thats just a scary scary proposition in my opinion.

The easiest solution for that little girls head slump problem would be to turn her back rear facing so the seat is reclined. problem solved.
