Graco Nautilus fit Mazda3?

What is he riding in now? Does it not fit in your Mazda, or is there another issue? He might not have much growing room in the Scenera Next, but it does fit in smaller spaces with toddlers. Most Graco convertibles are good in small spaces, too, and they last kids longer. I had a 4Ever rear-facing behind a 5'8" driver in a Corolla with room to spare. The Nautilus is only forward-facing, so is not appropriate for kids under the age of 2. Kids should be rear-facing until they outgrow their convertible seat. So, a convertible would usually be preferable, but within a month he would meet the minimum limits to forward-face.

The current one is pretty bulky. At 5foot5 I'm ok with it but my husband is much taller and his seat is so far back that little one's seat is limited to being behind the passenger seat. Once again, fine by me. But I swear, my husband's friends are all giants. And it becomes such a pain taking it in and out whenever he has friends in the car. I'm sick of the complaining. So I'll give that one to the grandparents as a just-in-case.

I'm glad to hear your experience on the 4Ever. It's definitely the one I've been leaning towards.
