Okay, i take back the good things i said about this stroller:mad: . We used it at the mall today and the supid front wheel was not touching the ground and just sat there viberating like crazy and turning sideways. UGH!!!! I am taking it back and getting my money back and getting a different one, so back to my stroller quest..... Any good sugestions that are $100 and under before taxes are added?????

I bought a Silver Cross Mini last year new through ebay for $90. I was looking for a portable lightweight stroller that could be taken on trips and fit easily into the car. I had enough of my Peg Perego (bought it used & it was not easy to push one handed or turn). The Mini is about 12lbs and folds up really well, even more compact if you pop off the front wheels.

I had tried out the Maclarens and the way they leaned made me walk with the two back wheels on the ground. Not enough legroom. I read some reviews and took a gamble to buy the Mini untried. It's really nice. If the handles had little ball ends, it would be perfect for both me and my tall hubby. DD still fits it at 39" & 34/35lbs. It was tested to 45 or something like that, but I've had it loaded down with gear and it still managed to maneuver with about 55lbs on it. With the stroller cover off, there's even more head room. I have an aftermarket bag hanging from the handles, so it has more room for storage. I liked the Ascot fabric and can pretty much find my stroller immediately when left in the stroller lot at Sea World & Disney :D

This site has reviews and comments on it:

Unfortunately, it might be hard to locate. From what I understand, Silver Cross took over the American franchise and styles have changed since last year. There's a 'micro' version at 9lbs, but it's not as wide and well built. I think my daughter would have outgrown that by now.
