Frontier 90 buckle position

New member
I really love DS's frontier 90, except for the buckle position options. He's pretty much right in between the two slots, and since they're so far apart, that means he's about an inch passed the inside one and an inch away from the outside one.

Anyways, since the guidance in the manual is to use the furthest position back that isn't underneath the kiddo, I'm using the outer position for him these days. We switched pretty recently, and he says it's more comfortable. But I'm still nervous about the inch or so space in front of him. Wish there was a middle slot. Anyone else have this issue? Have I made the right decision moving it forward?
