Front middle seat of F250 Crew Cab

I’ve recently had a 4th child and am trying to figure out the front middle seat options for my oldest (most likely).

2 months, 3yrs, 5yrs, and 7yrs
The older 3 are all FF 5pt harness

Is rated to have a car seat. The instructions even mention for a Crew Cab how to secure with a belt in that front middle position, and then it gets to the “attach top tether of equipped”. Plot twist, there’s no top tether in that position. It even shows in a diagram on the next page, top tethers only in rear seats.

so, it seems like I’ll have to do a booster in the front middle. Should this be the high back booster or just booster? (My seatscan do 5pt, hb booster, or just booster). Putting it in as high back would give sideways head supports, but they are then pushed forward those 3inches or so
My oldest has never been in anything other than 5pt before.
Thoughts?

thanks!

What year is your vehicle? I'd like to look at some pictures before making recommendations.

How much does the 7yo weigh? I would personally choose a low profile backless booster for that spot. If kiddo is at least 50 lb, the Graco RightGuide is a great option. If under 50 lb, there are a number of other options that would work. A Ride Safer vest is another option to consider.
