Hi, I recently posted, looking for advice on Ford Freestyle seating, but ended up buying a 2005 Ford Five Hundred. I have my almost-4yr old daughter FF in the center in her Frontier CT and my new son (6mos, 21lbs, 27") in her old Diplomat RF outboard driver's side. Both seatbelt installed. They're both in solidly, and served our purposes in buying the vehicle (her in the middle, both of them right next to each other, and room for an adult in the back if necessary). He will be outgrowing the Diplomat in a short while, and it expires next year anyway (we have an Advocate CS, but I tried and it's side-impact pillow thingies don't puzzle with her Frontier armrest). So I'd like to put him in a Radian (or other narrow, tall-shell ERF seat) when that happens. I'd need to seatbelt install it because LATCH for outboard seats is displaced toward the center and her Frontier isn't going to allow it. Can this be done? With any sort of ease? Is there a different seat I should consider that might fit and keep him RF as close to 4 as possible?
