I take that back, the 80's was probably worse when it came to denim :p
Maybe the mom works for the Britax marketing department?!

Totally was in middle school in this era! I'm probably the same age as the teen in the pic! :D I had a Stone-Washed Denim Jacket! I loved that thing!!!!!!

I wanted to get Foofy but didn't. It will forever be The One That Got Away for me. We had Funky Denim and New Blues instead. LOVED Funky. The kids fought over it.

Britax's cotton covers were a miracle for us. Dd1 broke out in heat rash where she sweat against non-breathable fabrics. Her Evenflo seat was torture. Thank goodness she has outgrown that and none of my other kids are like that.

I miss the denim covers both for their form and function.

My first Britax was a foofy, it made me fall in love with the company, won't talk about how many more I have bought since then lol

I so miss the cotton fabrics. It was 114 today according to the thermometer in my back yard. My poor AC couldn't keep up.

Me too! I wish more seats had a cotton option. Seems like it would more difficult to soak them in flame retardant, though :p

This is the seat that started my car seat craziness. I still love this cover. It was so soft and pretty.

Me too! Sofi actually picked this seat in BRU. This was my first purchase after finding CSO. This cover still has a special place in my heart :)

I too always thought Foofy was ugly.

We had plain denim covers on our Roundabout circa 2001 and a Marathon in 2004, never got into the frillier Foofy denim look, and DH would have rebelled against the ruffles in his car if I tried, lol. I almost typed Foonfy instead of Foofy, oops, can you imagine if Clek came out with a frilly Foofy-like cover for the Foonf? ;)

I loved my "New Blues" 100% cotton denim MA cover. The original Britax denim fabrics faded too easily and looked worn out quickly but they fixed that issue on the next-gen New Blues cover.

YES! I pink sparkly hearted my new blues. So, so great. I got one of the very last 100% cotton ones in '06 (didn't know that then).

Anyone have a pic of the funky? I can't picture it anymore.

I remember when a ton of people on bbc had Foofy.. it was as normal as having Cow or Ashley Floral back then. I know there is at least one Foofy pic in the RF Album on the cps safety site. In it's day it was pretty unique and cute if you liked girly covers, which of course I did and still do. I too miss cotton covers. I had funky denim at one point and it was great. Then again I also had a denim couch and loveseat. Again, this was back when denim was pretty trendy.
