I'm trying to figure out how to fit two rear-facing car seats and my son's booster in the back seat of my 2009 Subaru outback station wagon. When my son was a baby, the only place the rear-facing car-seat could fit was in the middle so that the longest part was snugly between the backs of the two front seats. I need now to fit one behind the passenger seat as well, so it can't be as long, and I need the seats to fit next to each other. Any suggestions?

My friend has a 5 year old and is expecting twins. She's getting Safety 1st OnBoard 35s. Her shower is in about a month, I can let you know how they fit in her car with a Graco Argos after her shower, if that helps.

What booster seat is your son riding in? And how big is he (height and weight)? Just an FYI that might help...it can be really tough to buckle a booster when in a tight three across. You may need to keep an open mind about his seat as well. There may be different boosters or harnessed seats for him that will puzzle the best or easiest with other seats. ;)
