Question Evenflo Symphony straps won't stay tight - Canada

I have an evenflo symphony carseat and the straps won't stay tight once tightened. It's like the little release botton is depressed but it's not. You can loose the the straps easily with a hand, without the button Any ideas? The seat is about a year old.

I would contact Evenflo right away. It may be that they need to issue the same recall fix as the Britax Clicktight seats (which had the same problem), or it may be that there is something specifically wrong with your seat and they need to replace it. If the button is getting stuck, though, that's something Evenflo needs to deal with directly.

Check that there's no debris in the area around the harness release button and that the harness pull strap is threaded straight through the button. 9.9 times out of 10 that's the reason causing the problem. If there's still a problem after checking those 2 things, give Evenflo a call.
