E2F cover and harness questions

I've been reading reviews on the E2F. I keep coming across harness tightening problems. Also issues with the cover being hard to remove. How difficult is the cover to take off and put back on? I tend to wash mine fairly often. I seen the rapid remove covers and I could go the route, but I think I prefer a couple other patterns better. Also, how bad is the harness?

Thanks!

If it's like the 3-in-1, the cover is AWFUL to remove. I don't think the rapid remove would help. There are these "button clips" where the cover attaches above the extension panel that are impossible to get out.

My regular e2f was fairly easy to strip the cover off to wash. I haven't put it back on yet though, so I'm. It sure how it it to put it back on.

I'm pretty sure it is, as I did not have to do any button clips.
