Does the Nauti have to be 100% on the seat?

I think I remember reading this on here somewhere but since we didn't have one, I didn't pay that much attention. I'm trying to decide what to get Titan because DH is tired of how high he has to lift him to get him into the Marathons in both vehicles (Silverado Crew & Commander). I'm considering getting him a Nauti for one vehicle but then started second guessing myself because I don't think it will fit completely on the seat of my Commander.

Thank you! We'd never use it as a booster as we have 4 Turbos that I love. I might try my mom's Nauti and see what I think before buying one.
