Question Dodge Journey?

Anyone have a Dodge Journey?

My sister traded in her pickup for a Journey today! Anyone have experience installing seats in one? She doesn't have any kids, but watches ours on a regular basis. We usually just trade cars (she had a standard cab little toyota), but I am wondering if we can just move seats now? I have lots of seats available, just wondering about any known issues.

TIA

I have a 2013 Dodge Journey. My radian installs like a dream (I've only tried it rear facing so far) with both latch and seatbelt. My true fit installs great rear facing with latch but it did not work well with the seatbelt as the folds in the seatbelt lined up perfectly with the lock offs making it impossible to close them. Other than those two seats, I have only had a variety of boosters in there. I have been able to fairly easily get 3-across in it though which is nice.

Not sure if hers has the third row or not but there are no tether anchors back there so no forward facing seats and radian JUST fits rear facing with the middle row as forward as it goes with the angle adjuster. The third row back seat is tiny so kids will 5 step sooner back there

My nephew has a 2010 Journey. I know the Evenflo I got him installs well both forward and rearfacing, but I can't remember what seat it is, one of the first ones they made that rear faces to 40lbs and not a Symphony is all I can say for sure. Sorry, not much help.

I have a 2012 & had a 2009 - the newer body style is less car seat friendly :/

Outboard is fine ... I haven't had an issue with any seat either with seatbelt or UAS. The top tether can be a pita to reach ... I always fold the seat forward, attach & then tighten from inside the hatch afterwards.

Middle is not car seat friendly. Narrow, plastic pieces, fixed buckle stalk & locking latch plate ..... I did get my frontier 90 & marathon installed side by side but the FR was installed using the click tight & I wasn't comfortable with how close to the door the marathon was.
