Diono angle adjuster

Anyone know how the Radians/Dionos install in the second row of a Town & Country? I'm not sure of the year, but it's older-maybe 2002-2004ish. I managed to get an RXT for my cousin and I'm wondering if we'll need the adjuster.

Seriously. Come on guys! I don't even want to take the R100 from Wayfair out of the box/keep it unless I have one of these to play with.

Bench or Captain's chairs?

I have a 2003 Dodge Caravan and I have installed a Radian behind the passenger in a captain's chair. I have the old RF boot so I had to install it with the SB because the boot was too wide for the latch points. The angle was OK but I did have to move the passenger seat up slightly to accommodate the car seat.

Currently we have three seater benches installed in the 2nd and 3rd row of our van to accommodate our six kids. DS2's Radian is installed in the center of the 2nd row bench using the lap belt. It is pretty reclined. DH is so tall that he has the seat all the way back and the top of the Radian digs into his shoulder. I am hoping the angle adjuster fixes this problem.

Hope that helps.

My sentiments exactly. My RXT is still in its box, in the back of my car. I want to see if the angle adjuster is going to help in my car! I ended up selling my XTSL to a friend because he needed it for his 18 month old more than I did. Otherwise I'd have waited for the angle adjuster to come out so I could try it with the XTSL.

2006 mazda mpv van. Latch in captains chairs only. TAs in captains chairs and 3rd row off center towards drivers side.

First pic. 2nd row captains chair with adjuster. Front passenger seat all the way back. Without adjuster it heavily braces on the headrest.

2nd pic. 3rd row drivers side without adjuster. The second row seat will not click into a locked position without the radian being inches off the seat base.

3rd pic. Same position with adjuster. Installed with second row chair down then lifting the butt of the rn to add adjuster then locking the captains chair in place.

4th pic. From the rear

5th pic. Current van setup. Note captains chair headrests need to come off in order for the rns to fit rf in the third row.
Eta the 80sl rns in the third row have adjusters however the rxt in the second does not in this picture.

If needed I can do a comparison adjuster vs not in the captains chairs side by side.
