Question Difference between Frontier 90 and G1.1

Other than cover choices, is there a difference in the newest Frontier (G1.1 ) vs the Frontier 90? Trying to decide whether it is worthwhile to pay for the newest or get a 90 on sale.

I just got off the phone with Britax -- they say the only functional difference is that the red seatbelt guide is shaped a little differently (this jibes with Kegracin's info about the arm rests), that the lever is a different color, and the name different. The install is the same.

I myself note that Britax seems to have lost their shift key, as the logo is now all lowercase letters. Probably not a safety issue, though. :)

If you find a great price, tell me!

BTW, scratch the "great price" thing -- I just ordered one of the G1.1s in the new fabric for $251 shipped from pishposhbaby: preorder price of $264 - 5% coupon from retailmenot. Same price as the 90 and a later manufacture date, so I'm a happy camper! The one I ordered (the Vibe) isn't going to ship until January but I am a slave to fashion and want the dark grey.

(if you have trouble finding a discount code I have a bunch, PM me)

Do you know if you can use latch with the seat in booster mode? I'm trying to decide on the Frontier g1.1 or the parkway SGL which I like for the latch feature so it doesn't fly around in my car when my kid is not sitting in it. I'm attracted to the Frontier G1.1 because I'd like to keep him in a 5 pt harness a little longer, but pretty soon my son will be in a booster and I'd like that latch feature so it doesn't fly around in the car.

Yes, you can. :)

Isn't it odd??? I wonder if I'm allowed to type their name with a lower case b now? And after all the years it took me to sort of learn to type with proper upper case letters....
