Diapers.com has the new Commander

But it's twice the price of the Defender, and doesn't look much different. I want to know what they've changed to justify that price!

I'm cool with it being a *little* more than the Defender...you know, nicer cover, strap covers, etc, but double? I was really hoping this would be a Nautilus competitor, but it's up more in the Frontier and ProSport range now. No way.

Right? I figured it would be a little more, but not double! Maybe it will come down some when it's more widely available, but so far this looks disappointing.

I went back through some of the old Defender threads the other day to refresh my memory on what people didn't love about it, they were all pretty small things that would be easy to fix.
Short crotch strap
PITA assembly required
No foam on sides of headrest
Smooth bottom causing slippy install in some cars
Blah cover
Even if they fixed all those complaints and added premium latch or something, $100 still seems like too big a mark up.
