Question Converting Evenflo Maestro to booster

New member
I am in the process of switching my son's Maestro into a booster. Reading the manual it states to install booster with LATCH connectors.? Does this mean lower LATCH or Tether? Or both?

The Maestro often doesn't offer children much more room than the harness does. Has your son maxed out the harness, height-wise? If so, the booster might not work for him.

If your son still has room, height-wise, in the harness, the booster should be fine. :)

He is about 2 lbs off the weight limit for the harness. Height wise we are good. Looking to transfer to a Recaro booster early next yr. But figured I probably ought to go ahead and have him learn to sit in a booster now, rather than when I have no choice. He is 6 yrs old, 48 lbs on a normal day, and about 49 in tall.
