Question Convertible Car Seat for 2010 Prius

Looking for an ERF convertible car seat for a 2010 Prius that will give the passenger enough leg room in front. My son is 5 months and 26 inches. He's going to be a tall boy so we need to make sure he has enough leg room to ERF and that his tall parents can ride upfront comfortably. His dad has to drive with the driver seat all the way back. Right now he's in an Graco Classic Connect 30 infant car seat and the passenger can barely fit in the front seat. So far the ones that might work seem to be the Graco Extend2Fit, Graco 4Ever all in one, Britax Boulevard Click Tight and Diono Radian with seat adjuster. Any recommendations? Thanks so much!

The Diono, of those, will be the biggest, and the angle adjuster can't be used until he's sitting unassisted.

The others may work better now, with the Extend2Fit being the most compact of them.

The Extend2Fit is your best bet for balancing a compact seat with leg room for the child. The Graco Milestone would also be a good one to look at, since it is low profile and allows for more positions for the legs. Another to consider might be the Chicco Nextfit, although for the price there are more compact seats available now.

If you intend to pass this seat down to another child in the future, I think the Extend2Fit or the Extend2Fit 3-in-1 is your best bet as it will last the longest and be the most compact in a rear-facing position. If you are hoping to have this seat last a long time rear-facing but then last a long time forward-facing -- until your son needs a booster -- then the ClickTight Boulevard might have an advantage as it has a slightly higher harness height.
