Hope this is in the right spot- it's my first time . I have my 6 and a half year old on a Monterey but wit baby 3 coming in a few weeks he needs to go third row. Thought it was simple ... Move the seat to the back. Nope the Monterey doesn't work back there with my forward sitting seat belt guide. He will be sitting outboard passenger side ... I have heard evenflo seats work well back there but I like sturdier seats. The oobr caught my eye as the guides are more to the side and not the back. Has anyone tried this ? Seems like now I am interested in one, my local BRUs don't have them

Most Buy Buy Baby stores carry the Oobr. Clek customer service can also tell you of any stores near you that carry the seat.

You could also contact Clek consumer service. They have a database of car compatibility and if your lucky, they will have an answer.

FWIW, I wouldn't use the Oobr unlatched. It's a very heavy seat. It also has a short seat pan that some children find very uncomfortable.

The Evenflo AMP is a cheaper looking and feeling seat, I admit. But it does the same job as the $300 Oobr: positioning the seatbelt! I'm actually buying an AMP for my SO's car to replace the Britax Parkway that's going in my car.

You're right it a very short butt on it - which my son has been used to the Monterey which is deep. I'll look again at the evenflo - I'm sure DS isn't picky, I just Thot the clek looked sturdier and the guides at the side had me intrigued . When we tried the Monterey in the back my son got so upset that all of a sudden he could no longer Buckle himself . And then we went through a phase of him refusing to sit back there. I really need him moved soon so I'm trying to find the car seat easiest for him . Thanks for the advice ladies

The AMP should be easy to buckle since the armrests are really high!

Amp is great, the deep seat is super comfy for my long legged lanky 10 year old. He prefers it to no booster! Deep seat plus tall arm rests are awesome.
