Clek Olli in Ford Explorer

Has anyone personally tried a Clek Olli booster in a '12 Explorer?

Or similar year, I believe they were the same '11-'15, but not 100%.

Just want to make sure it can be latched in AND is easily buckled. Hoping its not too close to the short buckles.

I don't have that vehicle but I do have a vehicle with short stalks and an olli. There is a little bit of leeway in how the olli latches in and it's just enough in our mazda to put the olli over far enough to buckles pretty easily. If I don't take the time to make sure it is as far to the side of the latch bars as possible, it is a pain. Something to consider if the first time you try it, it doesn't seem like it will work.

If your 12 is like my 14 you should have one long belt stalk on the drivers side and the short fixed on the other side (this is an issue for me because my cybex doesn't like the long belt stalk and that's the side I want the booster).

Just checked... mine are exactly the same. I would prefer the booster on the passenger side. It makes school drop off a car rides easier. :D

Thank you for this info. I had no idea :D

I really don't think you'll have an issue other then the booster user needs to practice dd can buckle her cybex in just find it has the ridged latch as well the only time she has an issue is if the 60 next to her is folded down then it's really tight

I could have sworn I replied to this earlier to thank you...

Thank you!

We bought an Olli and it works perfectly in the 3rd row and both sides of the 2nd row. It does not fit in the center spot, but that's not where we wanted to use it anyhow 😉
