Chicco stroller compatability

Does anyone know what, if any, other brand infant seats are compatible with Chicco Cortina strollers? (Single and double) My cousin got a Cortina travel system with her first, then the double stroller with her second, she's adopting a newborn in March and her Keyfit is expiring soon. Does she need to get another Keyfit, or does she have options? Are Britax or Graco compatible?

I'm pretty sure it's KF or bust with the Cortina.

Yes. The attachment mechanisms are entirely different with the Keyfit than with other brands, and the Cortina stroller doesn't support anything else.

It sounds like she has time on her side. I would tell her to keep an eye on travel system sales (if she likes the Cortina style strollers) and sell her Cortina to support the new travel system purchase.

So, she got the Cortinas because of the Keyfit, and now has to get another Keyfit because of the Cortinas-just what Chicco had in mind I imagine. Not that it's a hardship really...

Wouldn't it be cheaper (and easier) to just buy the new seat? I don't think she cares if they match, I'm not even sure if her strollers are the same color. Also, I imagine it will be used mostly with the double stroller since her 2 youngest will be 16mo apart.

I thought she may have wanted another brand, or a different style stroller. She could, of course, just buy another KF.
