Question CCO Covers

New member
I am wondering that CCO to order.

I am leaning more towards the Carrot Cake, but DH thinks that is too light and it would get dirty too easily. I have only seen the Key Lime in real life and DH defintely does NOT like that one and I do have to say that it is pretty light.

The one he wants in the Chestnut (brown), but my issue is that it comes with a white insert and that would get dirty quick.

Basically I am looking for a color is that cute but practical!

I had Cherry Pie and Chestnut and never had problems with them getting dirty. Both have the off-white inserts, but you only use the inserts for a few months. You can't use them over a certain weight limit at all and they're even optional before that. I don't remember the limits, it was a long time ago and they may have changed, but the point is you don't use them long and then the seat is a dark color!

Oh! I forgot to ask, does anyone know if the Carrot Cake is a little darker than the Key Lime? It looks that way from the Combi website.

I don't think the seating area of the carrot cake is any darker. I wouldn't worry about the white insert. IME, the covers don't start to look dirty until the child is snacking in the car or walking/wearing shoes. You'll be done with the insert by then.

Now my Smokey Pearl RA55? That cream colored section is permanently gray in the foot area...
