Car seat for Mini Cooper clubman S

I'm looking for a convertible seat that will fit in my 2009 Mini Cooper Clubman.

Budget is whatever works, though I would rather not get into the Clek price range.

Our other vehicle is a Toyota RAV4, so fitting that is no problem.

Kiddo is due next year, must fit newborn. I make big babies, so not worried about it being able to fit a tiny baby.

That's a tough one. I would advise trying before you buy if you can- is there a Buy Buy Baby near you?

If you don't need to use the passenger seat that will open up a lot of options.

I seem to recall a client getting a Britax in her Clubman, but I'm not sure if the angle was suitable for an actual newborn.
