Friday my son's care worker and him went to the park. While playing on the playground she noticed a bunch of people around her car. Someone hit her car and took off. Luckily witnesses got the plate number and had already called the cops. They backed into her car hard enough to do a lot of damage to the bumper. Cops tracked down the lady that hit her and she's already filed with the lady's insurance. My son's CA65 was in her car. I know Safety 1st says after any accident. Her and I never even thought about the seat till later Friday night, she's a CPST. She called the insurance and they said if the seat is in the car when the adjuster looks at her car they can put it in the claim.
First off, anyone have a CA65 PDF manual file? They emailed it to me after I got my seat, but I can't find the PDF on my computer. When I got my CA it was missing, from the box. That way she can have it if they try to give her crap.
Second, what would you get to replace it? DS is 5 years old, 50lbs and about 46" tall. I had a Nauti for his seat for his care workers, but it was so heavy I switched our CA for it in my dad's truck. So ideally something light weight, but easy to install. I prefer no thread harnesses.
