Bundled in carseat? Is this safe?

These bundle baby blankets are being made locally & advertised with this picture & I really want to say something to the lady but wasnt sure if its really a big deal & of how to nicely inform her . What do you think?

I'd say no. Essentially it's swaddling in the car seat which would be fine if it was over the straps provided the material isn't too thick but I don't thing all that bulk under the harness would be a good thing.

Not to mention if theres a crash and the arms move then the straps are going to be way too loose

That looks like pretty thin fleece... I'm more annoyed by the head support that's definitely not Chicco.

Um, definitely bad. The lower part of the harness should be snug across the thighs, not the thighs and arms.

How loose the harness is got me first. I say a definite no.

On a side note I caught DH putting DS in his seat yesterday with his winter coat on and almost brained him. He knows better!

I found their facebook, and website. It's not being marketed directly as a carseat item, but it is mentioned it can be used in the carseat. To me, it looks alot like the CuddleBabe, but there's no gap in back for the harness. And the CuddleBabe I

That is a very strange concept anyway. Why would anyone want their kid's arms pinned down like that all the time?
