I think the Hi-Way II passed the plus-test (I think thats what its called) and it has a longer foot prop.

Other than that I'm not sure.

I'm not really sure, i guess if they had to make changes for it to pass the plus test then it is probably better.

A longer foot prop could be better, I know the Multi Tech foot prop was only just long enough in my car, so for me a longer foot prop would be better.

Hi-Way and Hi-Way II are the same except for the support leg. The new support leg is now also used on Multi Tech.

The new support leg is longer which is a great improvement. Design has also been improved. Earlier there were some cars where support leg wouldn't reach all the way down to vehicle floor. There are workarounds for this but it's of course better if the leg is longer.

The new support leg can handle a vehicle seat height which is 11 cm higher (4+ inches) which means it will reach all the way down in any car.

Hi-Way II has passed the ultra strict Swedish car seat standard called Plus Test. This is by far the strictest standard in the world. Crash test speed is a little higher, which is not relevant, but the deceleration is shorter which means we get a crash pulse which is different from a normal crash test. Forces in the Plus Test are therefore sharply higher than in a regular crash test.

The Plus test also measure forces in the neck/head of the Q-dummy. This is why no forward facing seat has the slightest chance of passing, forces in head/neck in a collision are extremely high.

The new support leg is stronger than the previous one which is why the seat has passed the Pus Test all the way up to 25 kg (55 lbs)
