Question Booster Seats & Side Air Bags

My son uses a Britax Parkway. Most of the time his seat is in our van but on occasion we put it into our Mazda 6. The Mazda has side air bags in the rear and the headwings of the Parkway side right beside them. Is this dangerous if the air bags were ever to deploy? Also, I think the headwings are going to start touching the ceiling back there when he grows again. Should I be looking at a low back booster for in the car? I'll try to take pictures later but the my husband has the car at work right now.

It's fine...as long as neither the car manual nor the car seat manual prohibit a seat in a certain spot, then it's ok to use there. I wouldn't move to a backless booster till he's too tall for the PW or mature enough (ie, definitely doesn't nap in the car) to sit properly in one all the time, if it were me

Agreed. Keep in mind that side curtain airbags don't deploy the same way as frontal airbags do.
