Booster Seat Buddies?

This product's ad was on the top of the c-s.o banner ads:

The Booster Seat Buddy provides positive backseat buckling assistance.

Product Description:
The Booster Seat Buddy is a booster seat mounted Seatbelt Stabilizer. The Booster Seat Buddy is primarily a booster seat attachment that suspends and encloses the flexible female seatbelt buckle; to facilitate the positive engagement of the seatbelt buckle.

This attachment configuration is provided as a retrofit for the millions of booster seats that lack the many benefits of this invention.

I can see this causing problems

I looked on the website it just looked like a piece of plastic to keep the female end up. I dont see how it could cause problems really but then again I am no booster guru.

If you go to the Resources page it has instructions on how to screw the metal plate into the side of the booster... at any angle you want, even

If your child comes home from school every time with the shoe lace undone, you can fix it by just doing a simple knot with the looped ends on top the regular knot.

Hey, wow, thanks for teaching me about double-knotting!

I'd guess they took the arms off the Turbo Boosters to be able to fit them three-across in their car. Too bad that's a very bad idea, AND that the installation of the device has forced the seatbelt to come across the wrong spot on the seat- at the very least he could have installed it at an angle toward the red lapbelt guide. But. Uh. Yeah.

Well, actually- this one reminds me of some redneck in their shed with an old booster seat and a beer too many:(

Sure, but in this case, the About says:

As a Senior R&D Mechanical Engineer, I knew I had to do something about the everyday buckling-up problems with three booster seat kids in the backseat.

the armrests are probably off because they won't fit now with the screws in (unless you screw through them, too.

this is scary scary scary to me.

I don't even get why you need to attach the metal piece to the booster seat... if it is the right length, it would stabilize the buckle without actually attaching it to the seat.

Buckle Biters is clearly a way better product, anyway, as it's soft (no risk of burning some flesh on metal) and doesn't affect the seat.

I swear, I almost wish I could find a reason to buy a buckle biter just to support them and kind of give the finger to this company.

Any techs wanna contact them (email address is on the bottom) and give them all the reasons this product is NOT okay?

And they have the wrong female end screwed to the booster. That's the passenger outboard seat and they're using the middle buckle. Smart idea.
