Booster or Harness?

DD will be 7 in March... but she's only 37/38 lbs.

She's currently in a Radian RXT (so can't booster until 50 lbs right?) Would you keep her in the harness... or switch her to our ProBooster??

I've read the studies... and there's pros and cons to both. DS went into a HBB at 7... .but he was A LOT bigger!

I think it's really up to you and what you want to do. As long as you know your DD is mature enough to sit properly in a booster seat, it's a very safe option for a 7yo.

The one caveat - Do you know how she fits in the Probooster? I've never seen it in person so I don't know how it fits different sized kids. I originally wanted to try it for my 97th+ percentile DS, but I couldn't find anywhere to have him try it out.

I kept my petite DD in a harness in our primary car until she was almost 7 1/2 years old. Part of the reason I did so was because she still fit in her car seat (Radian). I also liked my twins having the extra support of the harness when we did long car drives and when they might fall asleep in the car. I had to buy a booster seat to make the switch for her. We bought the Recaro Vivo for her, based on hearing how well it works for petite children.
