I had a great offer of $20 for my Coccoro today. I had 2 potential buyers over the weekend buy they seem to have fizzled out. One said she could meet, and then never got back to me.

I can't sell anything on there lately.

Oh, does anyone know of a great sale on the Sure Ride? If you do let me know and maybe I'll send her a link.

People on CL make me stabby.

I was trying to sell a bob dualie stroller for a the longest time and in addition to the usual lowball offers and no-shows, I got an email that seemed off somehow (I think because it was a man, but I didn't want to be prejudice against a dad) but gave an email and phone number so I emailed back and heard nothing... meanwhile 2 other people said they were interested and i said I would let them know if the first guy didn't show - well 24 hours passed and I called the number and the guy had no idea what I was talking about. I asked if he was [email name] and he laughed and said oh his friends were pulling a joke on him.

HOW IS THAT FUNNY???????

Meanwhile the other two buyers found other strollers.

Our localish craigslist is now full of items listed with phone numbers that were done by "friends' pulling pranks on other people. About 5 years ago it was a good place to buy and sell things. Now I can't find a way to sell car seats and booster seats.

I know! No more trying out seats and then passing them on. From now on we make sure they work FIRST! I hope my Peg works - if it ever comes.

Type in your city name and fleamarket, or kids BST, things like that. I have sold some stuff with Pittsburgh Kid's Fleamarket or something like that. You will still get a bunch of lowball jackwagons but it does seem to work better than CL.

You can try your city name plus garage sale or BST, etc. I found them through friends who were in them already.
