Best Convertible Seat for an 09 Hyundai Elantra

Hello!

I am starting my search for a convertible carseat for an 09 Hyundai Elantra that will fit in the back seat. We need to have usage of both of the front seats pushed back about halfway. Any suggestions?

I own a 07 Elantra (same style as yours)an have installed a Fisher Price Safe Voyage Deluxe rear facing and it did install well. I would recommend going to your local Baby's R Us and trying out some of those seats in your car before buying one.
I know that you said you wanted a convertible car seat, but I just bought a Graco Snugride 35 and this seat was so easy to install in my Elantra.

The Fisher Price Safe Voyage Deluxe was discontinued three years ago


OP, you should be able to put almost anything there. Something to keep in mind is that that vehicle does not allow rear facing seats to touch the passenger seat in front of it due to advanced airbags.

What age/size child are you buying for?

I have an 04 Elantra and have had a Britax Boulevard and Britax Marathon in the back with no problems! I've also installed other forward facing only seats in there with no problem. Elentras seem to be pretty accepting of most seats I've tried.
