Need a new car (ideally electric and/or won’t break the bank)

Have 2 graco extend 2 to fit forward facing and will soon have an infant car seat

Any suggestion on safest/best options?

Sorry for the delay. Most EVs are compact or marginally midsize vehicles and tough to fit 3-across unless some very narrow car seats are part of the setup. This includes most popular models like Tesla Model 3/Y, VW ID.4, Ford Mach-E, Chevy Blazer EV, Hyundai Ioniq 5, etc. Larger models like the Genesis GV90, Volvo EX90, Cadillac Lyric, Rivian R1S or full-size pickups like Silverado/Lightning have a better chance and some have a reasonably sized 3rd row, but all can cost a small fortune. Kia EV9 is a more affordable possibility based on dimensions, but I haven't seen one in person to comment on 3-across possibilities or 3rd row usefulness.

Is a hybrid an option? The new Highlander is a bit bigger than most of the popular EV models and the third row is just functional enough to be used for some car seats as well.
