Okay, I went to bru intending to check out (maybe even purchase) the BT fastback. That didn't go as planned..so I thought id post why. I know someone had posted that you can't tighten the harness enough. That's certainly true! The straps are also super close together on the neck area.
While playing around with the seat, I got the impression that they never tried a real child in the seat!
I wanted to like this seat so bad. But, there was NO way this seat would work for us.
I tried my ds (5.5 yr old 36lb 42in) in it. I could *barely* get the harness tight enough. On the plus side, he seemed to have more growing room in it than his radian! He really liked the seat. The close harness straps didn't bother him. No pics of him though. Didn't think about it.
On to the pics.
Here's my dd (will be 4 in march, 26lbs, 38in).
Here's as tight as I could get the harness.
And in the 3 minutes or less that she sat in this seat, her neck ended up looking like this on both sides. Obviously this seat it a no-go for her.
And here she is in the TFP
And in the frontier
Just thought id share!
